Egyptian minister due here

JAKARTA (JP): The Egyptian Minister of Scientific Research,
Venice Kamel Gouda, arrives here today at the invitation of his
counterpart, B.J. Habibie.

The Egyptian embassy announced yesterday that both countries
have agreed to strengthen bilateral links as part of the South-
South cooperation.

Kamel Gouda's delegation includes chairmen of five branches of
the Egyptian scientific research institute.

Last September Habibie visited Egypt and signed a cooperation
agreement on scientific research. (16)
