Egyptian Ambassador extends Idul Fitri greetings to Indonesian people

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Indonesia, Yasser Elshemy, extended greetings for Eid al-Fitr on 1 Shawwal 1447 Hijri to all the Indonesian people. “As Muslims around the world celebrate the sacred moment of Eid al-Fitr, I extend Eid al-Fitr greetings to all the Indonesian people,” said Elshemy in a video uploaded to Instagram on Thursday. The Ambassador also conveyed warm regards and best wishes to the Indonesian people. “May the friendly nation, which shares such strong bonds of friendship, faith, and mutual respect with us,” he said. The Ambassador also expressed his hope that on this blessed occasion, the spirit of Eid al-Fitr would further strengthen relations between the two countries and inspire hopes for a more peaceful world.
