Egypt seeks olein

CAIRO (Reuter): The Egyptian state's Holding Company for Food Industries said yesterday it was seeking 10,000 to 15,000 tons of Indonesian or Malaysian palm olein for delivery in the first half of May.

The tender replaces a similar one, for delivery in April, it canceled on Wednesday without stating the reason.

The company said it would open the new bids at noon (1000 GMT) on February 27.
