The EduTrip programme at higher education institutions is not merely an overseas trip, but a platform for student learning and personal development. ‘EduTrip is designed to provide direct international learning experiences for students. Participants gain academic exposure through campus visits, learn about new cultures, expand international networks, and boost confidence to compete in a globalised era,’ explained Cicih Nuraeni, EduTrip Programme Coordinator at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), in Jakarta on Thursday (28 May 2026). She added that the programme motivates students to further develop their global outlook and skills. ‘Through this activity, we want students to have a broader perspective on global education and industry. We hope the experiences gained during EduTrip will be valuable assets for their future,’ she said. Cicih outlined that UBSI’s EduTrip offers a short-term overseas academic and cultural immersion concept, allowing participants to understand international education systems, academic and industrial practices abroad, and build global connections. The initiative aims to enhance cross-cultural communication skills, broaden international perspectives, and develop global leadership competencies. ‘In addition to being a learning platform overseas, the programme is also designed to expand students’ global awareness and provide cross-cultural learning experiences,’ she concluded. UBSI, as a Creative Digital Campus, is once again offering students the chance to participate in the international EduTrip Programme Batch 3, with destinations in Singapore and Malaysia. The programme is scheduled to take place from 2-5 November 2026 and is one of the flagship activities combining academic, cultural, and international networking experiences. Participants will engage in various activities, including a Singapore City Tour, visits to Singapore Management University (SMU), campus tours at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), and experiencing Kuala Lumpur through the KL City Tour. In addition to campus visits, participants will receive facilities such as round-trip airfare, accommodation, transportation, international certificates, campus and company tours, and professional chaperones throughout the programme.
