The Directorate of Teacher Professional Education (PPG) at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has officially summoned 60,896 teachers to participate in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) for Certain Teachers programme for the 2026 Phase 2, as a step to accelerate teacher certification. Director of PPG at the Ministry, Ferry Maulana Putra, stated on Sunday evening that teachers can check the SIMPKB (Continuous Professional Development Management Information System) application to see their summoning status and follow the stages according to the established schedule. He said the prospective participants who have been called up are teachers who have fulfilled the administrative requirements.

“The summoning of prospective participants for the PPG for Certain Teachers Phase 2 is the government’s commitment to accelerating the completion of teacher certification in Indonesia. We urge the summoned teachers to immediately confirm their willingness in their respective SIMPKB accounts,” said Ferry. He further explained that the stages of the PPG for Certain Teachers Phase 2 begin with willingness confirmation from 22 to 28 June 2026. After that, participants will undergo a self-reporting process from 1 to 4 July 2026 and an orientation on 8 July 2026. Subsequently, teachers can undertake self-directed learning through the Ruang GTK platform from 8 July to 12 August 2026, before taking the PPG Participant Competency Exam (UKPPPG).

He added that teachers who are later declared to have passed the series of PPG stages for Certain Teachers will obtain an educator certificate. This certificate, he said, is a form of recognition of teacher professionalism and one of the requirements for obtaining a professional allowance in accordance with applicable regulations. This programme also serves as evidence that the state continues to strive to deliver justice for teachers who have not yet obtained an educator certificate. The ministry also invites local governments, education offices, and all stakeholders to support the participants during the PPG process. Such support is important so that all stages can run smoothly and more teachers can successfully complete the programme and obtain an educator certificate.
