Throughout 2025, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education managed a budget of Rp64.34 trillion, with realisation reaching Rp62.17 trillion, or 96.64 percent.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has successfully obtained an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), whilst recording budget realisation of 96.64 percent throughout 2025.

Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti stated that the success of various national education programmes cannot be separated from the strengthening of good governance.

“The achievement of targets that have an impact on society is inseparable from the support of good, accountable, transparent and high-quality governance,” said Minister Mu’ti in Central Jakarta on Thursday.

He said that throughout 2025, Kemendikdasmen managed a budget of Rp64.34 trillion, with realisation reaching Rp62.17 trillion, or 96.64 percent.

According to him, the budget was used to support various priority education programmes, ranging from the Digitalisation of Learning assistance, Revitalisation of Education Units, the Smart Indonesia Programme (PIP), the Teacher Professional Education Programme (PPG), to strengthening vocational education and improving learning quality.

In terms of state financial accountability, the ministry’s 2025 Financial Statements received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia.

“The Kemendikdasmen 2025 Financial Statements have been audited by BPK RI and received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP),” said Mu’ti.

“This shows that Kemendikdasmen, in carrying out its duties, has been able to build good partnerships and meet the expectations of all strategic partners,” he said.

For 2026, Kemendikdasmen received a budget allocation of Rp56.68 trillion, which was subsequently reduced to Rp50.02 trillion following budget efficiency measures.

The government has since approved an additional budget of Rp57.71 trillion to support the National Priority Work Programme as well as post-disaster education services in the Sumatra region.

“Kemendikdasmen remains committed to improving the quality of state financial management and reporting in order to maintain the Unqualified Opinion (WTP),” said Mu’ti.
