Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti has praised the participation and contributions of various stakeholders actively involved in building Indonesia’s educational values and achieving quality education. During the National Education Day 2026 Syukuran Evening held in Jakarta on Monday (25/5), Mu’ti thanked all parties for their support to the Ministry during his tenure. ‘In line with the President’s Eight Aspirations and the vision of Quality Education for All through Universal Participation, we are greatly assisted by the efforts, initiatives, and creativity of all of you, journalists, teachers, and education providers who have collectively worked towards achieving quality education for all,’ Mu’ti said in a statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday. He also outlined achievements over 19 months in leading the ministry, including the revitalisation of 16,167 educational institutions and 288,865 Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) across Indonesia, in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s directives. ‘This year, we have increased the certification allowance for non-civil servant teachers from Rp 1.5 million to Rp 2 million.
