The Badung Regency Government will once again host the Badung Education Fair (BEF) 2026 at the Giri Nata Mandala Cultural Hall, Puspem Badung, from 9-11 June 2026. In addition to being an annual educational exhibition, the agenda is focused on assisting high school graduates and their equivalents in pursuing scholarships and selecting study programmes in higher education, as programmed by the Badung Regency Government.

“The event will run for three days. Visitors will be presented with various art performances, competitions, and educational exhibitions involving students from various levels,” said the Head of the Badung Education, Youth, and Sports Office (Disdikpora), I Gusti Made Dwipayana, when confirmed on Sunday (7/6/2026).

BEF 2026 is designed as a platform for students in Badung to showcase their talents. All academic and non-academic achievements, from local to national levels, will be openly displayed at the event venue.

“The Badung Education Fair is a stage for children to demonstrate their abilities. Many students will perform, including those who have achieved accomplishments ranging from the regency to the national level,” said Dwipay_yana.

The main attraction of this year’s BEF lies in the transparency of information regarding tuition assistance programmes currently being developed by the Badung Regency Government. This socialisation targets students from low-income families, children of farmers, and the third and fourth children in Balinese families, known as Nyoman and Ketut.

“The programme includes educational assistance for students pursuing higher education, as well as educational support for high school students. Detailed information regarding the mechanisms and opportunities to obtain scholarships will also be conveyed to the public during the fair,” Dwipayana added.

Through a massive socialisation scheme, the Badung Regency Government aims to ensure that all information regarding educational assistance can be directly understood by potential recipients. Additionally, approximately 20 universities will participate by opening exhibition booths to introduce their flagship study programmes.

“The presence of these higher education institutions is expected to assist students, particularly high school graduates, in choosing campuses and study programmes that align with their interests and abilities. In addition to universities, various educational units ranging from primary to secondary schools and higher education institutions will also open exhibition booths,” explained Dwipayana.

Members of the public attending the exhibition will be able to interact directly with representatives from each school and university. This educational space is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the quality and services offered by existing educational institutions.

“The public can see directly various flagship programmes, innovations, achievements, and educational services provided by each institution. This activity also serves as an educational medium for the community to gain references regarding the world of education,” Dwipayana clarified.

Dwipayana emphasised that the Badung Disdikpora remains committed to facilitating access to information to produce a competitive younger generation. All layers of society are encouraged to attend and make the most of these free services.

“Through BEF, we hope the community can more easily access educational information while encouraging the birth of a superior and competitive generation in Badung. We invite students, parents, educators, and the general public to attend and utilise the various information services available during the Badung Education Fair 2026,” concluded Dwipayana.
