Education Expert: Implementation of PP TUNAS Must Be Supported by Valid Data
Gorontalo (ANTARA) - Education expert and bureaucrat in the North Gorontalo Regency Government, Gorontalo Province, Robin Daud, stated that the implementation of Government Regulation (PP) Number 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic Systems in Child Protection (PP TUNAS) must be supported by valid data. The valid data in question, according to Robin in Gorontalo on Monday, pertains to all age categories of children. In particular, data on child gadget users, children without gadgets, children borrowing gadgets from parents, and data on child gadget users based on types of hobbies. Such data is important to facilitate the implementation of PP TUNAS in the regions. This man, who was once a high school teacher, said that it would be very effective if PP TUNAS were supported by high commitment from all elements, so that it does not merely become programmatic rhetoric, especially in its elaboration in the regions, including coastal areas. He hopes that the readiness of educational personnel and motivators in the success of PP TUNAS implementation becomes an important matter. “Even in the regions, that must be prepared,” he said. Considering that the presence of PP TUNAS must place the best interests of the child as the top priority in the digital space.
