Education Digitalisation Corruption: Two Former Kemendikbudristek Officials Convicted in Chromebook Laptop Scandal

Two defendants in the alleged corruption case involving the procurement of Chromebook laptops for the education digitalisation programme at Kemendikbudristek from 2019 to 2022, Sri Wahyuningsih (right) and Mulyatsyah (left), prepared to attend the verdict hearing at the Corruption Court in Jakarta on Thursday (30/4/2026). The panel of judges sentenced Sri Wahyuningsih to four years’ imprisonment and a fine of Rp500 million, while Mulyatsyah was sentenced to four years and six months’ imprisonment and a fine of Rp500 million.
