Education Assistance for Teachers: S1/D4 Degree Programme Requirements and Registration

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is providing educational assistance for teachers who do not yet hold an S-1 (Bachelor’s) or D-4 (Applied Bachelor’s) academic qualification. This programme is intended for both civil servant (ASN) and non-civil servant teachers to help them meet the minimum academic qualification requirements.

Through the S-1/D-4 Academic Qualification Fulfilment Programme, Kemendikdasmen assists teachers in pursuing a bachelor’s or applied bachelor’s degree at designated Teacher Training Institutions (LPTK) using a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) scheme.

Requirements for Participants:

Based on official information from Kemendikdasmen, prospective participants must generally meet the following criteria:

• Be a civil servant (ASN) or non-civil servant teacher

• Be registered in the Basic Education Data (Dapodik) system

• Not yet hold an S-1 or D-4 degree

• Still be actively teaching

• Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience

• Not currently enrolled in a higher education institution

• Be a maximum of 55 years old

• Have relevant teaching experience for the RPL process

*RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is the official recognition of an individual’s learning achievements obtained from formal, non-formal, or informal education, or work experience.

Participant data will refer to Dapodik records. If any data is inaccurate, it must be updated before registration.

Documents to Prepare:

Before registering, ensure the following documents are ready in digital format:

• Latest diploma

• Identity Card (KTP)

• First teaching appointment decree (SK)

• Latest teaching appointment decree (SK)

• Teaching assignment decree or supporting documents as required

• Permission letter from direct supervisor/head of school/foundation

• Integrity pact

Registration is conducted online through SIPKA Guru. Upload the documents according to the format and size specified in the SIPKA system.

How to Register:

• Access SIPKA: Go to the official SIPKA Guru website.

• Login: Use your Dapodik account and Single Sign-On (SSO) to log in.

• Complete Profile: Fill in identity data, school data, employment status, years of service, and choice of study programme.

• Upload Documents: Upload all required supporting documents.

• Submit and Monitor Verification: Ensure all data is correct, then submit the application and check the verification results periodically.
