In commemoration of National Education Day 2026, PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the education sector through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme titled Nawakara Gemilang (Gerakan Muda Indonesia Cemerlang). Implemented simultaneously across several regional offices on 12 May 2026, the programme provides education on security, safety, and environmental awareness for primary school students as an effort to build awareness from an early age.

This programme serves as a form of corporate contribution to supporting character education and increasing the younger generation’s awareness of the importance of a safe and sustainable environment. The activity is also aligned with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly within the education sector.

Through this programme, PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara delivers simple and applicable education regarding security, safety, and environmental care, packaged interactively to be easily understood by primary school students. The education focuses not only on academic aspects but also on character building and social awareness from an early age.

The main activity was held at Madrasah Maulana Hasanudin in Cilegon, Banten, alongside partner PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk. The programme was also conducted in several other regions, including Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, and Malang, involving local schools and supported by Nawakara’s partners in each area.

In Pekanbaru, the activity took place at SDN 002 Pangkalan Baru, Kampar, Riau, supported by partner PT EMP Bentu Limited. In Balikpapan, the programme was held at SDN 09 Balikpapan Selatan, East Kalimantan, supported by PT Hexindo Adiperkasa. Meanwhile, in Malang, the programme was implemented at SDN 1 Banjararum, East Java, with support from PT British American Tobacco (BAT).

Edi Susanto, General Manager of the Jakarta Regional Office for PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, stated that this programme is a form of the company’s contribution to supporting the character education of Indonesia’s younger generation. “Through this programme, we want to provide beneficial and easy-to-understand education for children regarding the importance of security, safety, and environmental care. We hope this activity can provide a positive experience while fostering a spirit of learning from an early age,” said Edito Susanto.

Collaboration with various partners has strengthened the implementation of this CSR programme, ensuring that the benefits can be felt more widely by the community and the education sector.

Ari Arianto, Head of General Affairs Manager at PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk, noted that the programme is a positive step in supporting student character building through an interactive and enjoyable educational approach. “This CSR activity provides positive benefits for students and the school environment. Programmes like this are important because they not only provide education but also build care, discipline, and a passion for learning in children from an early age,” said Ari Arianto.

Furthermore, the Head of Madrasah Maulana Hasanudin Cilegon, Hindun Nafsiah, expressed appreciation for the attention and contribution provided to the students. “This activity is very beneficial in supporting the development of students’ character and insight. Children are becoming more understanding of the importance of maintaining security, safety, and the surrounding environment through an engaging and easy-to-understand delivery method,” said Hindun Nafsiah.

Through this programme, PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara hopes to continue delivering social activities that provide a positive impact on the world of education and strengthen synergy with partners to create a bright, caring, and characterised younger generation of Indonesia.
