Edi Endi Deploys 40 Official Vehicles to Distribute Aid to Earthquake Victims

West Manggarai Regent Edistasius Endi has deployed around 40 official vehicles to distribute aid to earthquake victims in his area. The dozens of vehicles mobilised include official cars belonging to the regent, the regional leadership coordination forum (forkopimda), vertical agencies, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

Edi Endi stressed that this aid distribution is the first phase carried out simultaneously to broaden the reach of the gradual distribution that had been ongoing in previous days. Edi Endi personally led the release of the official vehicle convoy.

“The deployment of all available official vehicles as a fleet is expected to accelerate initial recovery and ensure that the basic needs of all residents affected by the earthquake disaster in West Manggarai Regency are met evenly and on target,” Edi Endi asserted.

The total aid distributed in this first phase reached 42 tonnes of rice, 102 tarpaulins measuring 3x4 metres, and several boxes of instant noodles.
