Eddy Soeparno Holds Affordable PANsar Sales in Bogor to Assist Citizens Before Eid
Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) from the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, Eddy Soeparno, held a series of affordable PANsar Ramadan redemption sales events at Padjadjaran Sports Hall in Bogor City. The event was attended by thousands of enthusiastic residents participating in the various activities.
PANsar Ramadan is a direct initiative from Eddy in his capacity as Deputy General Chairman (Waketum) of PAN, following directives from PAN General Chairman (Ketum) Zulkifli Hasan, who also serves as Indonesia’s Food Coordination Minister (Menko Pangan).
Eddy explained that in this activity, PAN prepared 3,000 food packages to help communities meet their daily needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
“This is part of our commitment to be amongst society ahead of Eid so that communities in need can access additional food staples at very affordable prices,” Eddy stated in his remarks on Monday (9 March 2026).
Eddy noted that the affordable PANsar Ramadan sales represent a consistent agenda implemented by PAN every Ramadan.
“The PAN General Chairman, who is also the Food Coordination Minister Zulkifli Hasan, has directed all party members to proactively assist communities in meeting their food and staple needs. In my electoral district covering Bogor City and Cianjur, we consistently conduct such activities to help residents whilst increasing their purchasing power,” explained the doctor of political science from the University of Indonesia.
Eddy expressed gratitude for the high enthusiasm shown by the community in the event. Several residents even requested that similar activities be held in subsequent phases.
“Alhamdulillah, community enthusiasm was high. Some residents have requested a second phase,” said Eddy.
“We hope this activity can provide benefits to the community in line with the PANsar affordable sales theme of ‘Shop Wisely, Assist the People’,” he added.
For information, the affordable PANsar Ramadan sales event was also attended by Bogor Mayor and PAN City Board Chairman Dedie Rachim.
