Economic growth in Majalengka Regency in the second quarter of 2025 reached 9.01%. “Various macroeconomic indicators show a significantly positive trend throughout 2025,” stated Majalengka Regent Eman Suherman. One of the main achievements is the Economic Growth Rate (LPE) of Majalengka Regency, which increased from 6.38% in 2024 to 6.86% in 2025. Even in the second quarter of 2025, economic growth reached 9.01%. On the fiscal side, the Majalengka Regency Government recorded regional revenue realisation of Rp3.167 trillion or 101.12% of the Rp3.131 trillion target. Meanwhile, regional expenditure was allocated at Rp3.143 trillion with a realisation of Rp3.039 trillion or 96.67%. “The budget was used for various affairs, including basic services that absorbed Rp1.794 trillion,” said Eman. For public welfare, several indicators also showed significant improvements. The Human Development Index (IPM) rose from 71.37 to 72.37 points, becoming the highest in the Cirebon region. In addition, the number of poor people was reduced by 5,910, bringing the poverty rate down to 10.31%. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) also decreased to 3.62%, the lowest in the last five years. In the health sector, life expectancy reached 75.32 years, exceeding the initial target of 71.65%. Throughout 2025, the Majalengka Regency Government also successfully received 18 awards from various parties.
