The Kemala Run 2026 event is assessed as capable of boosting Bali’s tourism and economy sectors. The economic circulation from this running event is estimated to reach hundreds of billions of rupiah.

“Bali as a tourist area will certainly see its economy move if there are many visitors, many tourists, and many travellers coming,” said the Chairman of the Race Management Section of Kemala Run 2026, Brigjen Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, at the Bali United Training Centre in Gianyar, Bali, on Sunday (19/4/2026).

“Even some estimates suggest the economic movement from Kemala Run, which will bring in 11,000 runners, could reach between Rp100 billion and Rp140 billion for the Province of Bali,” he added.

According to Sambodo, this economic impact will not only be felt by the hospitality sector. It will also extend to other business actors such as transportation, culinary, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM).

In addition to its economic impact, Sambodo stated that Kemala Run 2026 also carries a social concept through the Charity for Indonesia programme. The donation funds collected from this activity will be channelled to help communities affected by disasters in several regions.

“With the Charity for Indonesia concept, all the donation funds collected will be channelled by us to help areas hit by disasters, particularly in Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and West Java,” said Sambodo.

It is known that Kemala Run 2026 is organised by Polri through Yayasan Kemala Bhayangkari. The route of this running event traverses coastal areas along Jalan Pantai Saba, Jalan Pantai Purnama, to Jalan Bypass IB Mantra.

In addition to promoting sport tourism on the Island of the Gods, this running event is expected to introduce the beauty of local destinations through specially designed running routes. Tens of thousands of participants joining the event come from both domestic and international sources.
