Easter Holiday: Pertamina Increases LPG Supply to East Java

Pertamina Patra Niaga is increasing the supply of 3 kg LPG gas by around 49% from the average daily distribution, amounting to 779,800 cylinders, for the entire East Java region. This additional supply is to meet needs during the long Easter holiday from 3-5 April 2026.

“This amount is expected to suffice for the community’s activities during this long weekend, allowing them to enjoy it peacefully,” said Area Manager for Communication, Relations & CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga for the Jatimbalinus region, Ahad Rahedi, as quoted from Antara on Sunday, 5 April 2026.

Ahad urged the public to remain calm and not to buy excessively, as energy stocks are safe and sufficient. He advised against panic buying and to purchase wisely according to needs.

“The public should not be easily swayed by unverified information. Do not let public concerns be exploited by irresponsible parties,” he stated.

Pertamina also encouraged the public to use 3 kg LPG according to its purpose, as the 3 kg LPG is a subsidised product specifically for low-income communities. He assured that Pertamina would remain on guard at sites to ensure smooth distribution of fuel and LPG.
