Easter Holiday: 745,970 Vehicles Pass Through Nusantara Regional Toll Roads
Jasa Marga, through its Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division, recorded 745,970 vehicles passing through the Nusantara Regional toll roads during the extended Easter holiday period in 2026. The period ran from Thursday, 2 April 2026, to Sunday, 5 April 2026. Jasa Marga detailed the traffic volume on three main toll road segments in the Nusantara Region during that time. On the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, 70,604 vehicles passed through, an increase of 12.74 per cent compared to the normal 62,626 vehicles. Of that number, 21,195 vehicles entered via the Kualanamu Toll Gate from the direction of Kualanamu International Airport, up 7.06 per cent from the normal 19,797 vehicles. On the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road, the traffic volume reached 47,682 vehicles, an increase of 5.71 per cent from the normal 45,108 vehicles. Meanwhile, on the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulon Progo Toll Road Segment Kartasura-Prambanan, the total traffic volume was 74,639 vehicles, an increase of 21.04 per cent compared to the normal 61,665 vehicles. In addition, 44,020 vehicles were recorded leaving Yogyakarta through the same toll gate, up 34.31 per cent from the normal 32,776 vehicles. Jasa Marga advised toll road users to prepare their journeys well during the extended holiday period. Users were also asked to ensure that vehicle conditions and drivers are in prime condition, with sufficient fuel and electronic money balances. Furthermore, users were urged to obey traffic signs and instructions from on-site officers.
