DILI, East Timor: Local police chief Col. Andreas Sugianto has said that he has prepared 1,000 security officers in anticipation of demonstrations during the United Nations Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali's Indonesian visit.
"We have prepared two battalions of ABRI (Armed Forces) members in anticipation of any security disturbance," he said on Friday.
