East Manggarai Police Unit Chief Dismissed for Subsidised Fuel Hoarding
The Unit Chief of Public Services for East Manggarai Police Residency in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Aipda Djefri Loudoe, also known as Jelo, has been dismissed without honour (PTDH) after being found guilty of hoarding subsidised diesel.
Senior Commissioner Henry Novika Chandra, Head of Public Relations for Polda NTT, stated the dismissal was carried out on Monday, 25 May 2026, following a hearing by the Professional Ethics Commission (KKEP). The commission deemed his actions disgraceful, resulting in administrative sanctions including 20 days in a special placement (patsus), which he has served, and dismissal from the police force.
“The sanction for Police Officer Aipda J (Jelo) is dismissal due to the violation of subsidised fuel misuse,” Henry told detikBali on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
Henry added that Jelo has appealed the ruling under the police’s ethical process mechanism. Polda NTT has pledged to strictly address any violations by its officers.
“This is to uphold discipline and maintain public trust in the police institution,” he explained.
The case also implicated Herman Pati Bean, Commander of Company 4, Battalion B Pelopor of the NTT Police Mobile Brigade (Satbrimob Polda NTT), though Henry declined to comment on his sanctions.
Previously reported, Polda NTT detained two officers involved in hoarding subsidised diesel in East Manggarai. The fuel was stored in a warehouse owned by PT Surya Sejahtera in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai.
The detained officers are Aipda Djefri Loudoe (DGL), also known as Jelo, Unit Chief of Public Services for East Manggarai Police Residency, and Iptu Herman Pati Bean, Commander of Company 4, Battalion B Pelopor of the NTT Police Mobile Brigade.
“Regarding the handling of the alleged fuel misuse case, investigators have detained two individuals suspected of involvement in the matter,” said Henry to detikBali on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
