East Lampung SPPG Head Arrested for Abducting and Molesting a Nine-Year-Old Primary School Pupil

An official with the initials DD, 29, who serves as the head of the SPPG in East Lampung Regency, Lampung, has been arrested by police on charges of abducting and molesting a nine-year-old primary school pupil. DetikSumbagsel reported on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, that DD is a resident of Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. The suspect was arrested by the Purbolinggo Police Sector’s Resmob unit in the car park of a minimarket in Purbolinggo District after shopping on the afternoon of Tuesday, 3 March. Purbolinggo Police Chief AKP Irwan Susanto said the kidnapping and molestation occurred on 30 January 2026. Police arrested DD after a series of investigations including taking statements from witnesses and the victim. ‘Yes, yesterday (Tuesday) we arrested DD in connection with the kidnapping and molestation of the nine-year-old girl,’ Irwan told reporters. ‘DD was secured without resistance; the suspect has also admitted to the acts of kidnapping and molestation,’ he added. Irwan also confirmed the suspect’s position as a head of one of the SPPGs in East Lampung Regency. The suspect is currently detained at Purbolinggo Police Station.
