The Industry, Trade, Cooperative and SME Office (Disperindagkop) of East Kalimantan Province is facilitating local micro, small and medium enterprise products to penetrate international markets in five countries. “We are providing a golden opportunity for regional entrepreneurs to present their leading products directly to international buyers,” said Head of Disperindagkop Kaltim Heni Purwaningsih in Samarinda on Wednesday. This export acceleration facilitation is realised through a collaboration with the Balikpapan Export Centre, which is opening access to business meetings with the United Arab Emirates on 11 June 2026. The commodity promotion process continues with an agenda to connect entrepreneurs from Benua Etam with potential buyers from Turkey on 15 June. Heni explained that the next regional product marketing target will aim for the South American region via a scheduled commercial presentation to Chile on 17 June. “Offers are then rolled out to reach the East Asian market through meetings with trade partners from Hong Kong on 22 June,” Heni added. The series of cross-border trade product showcases throughout this month concludes with a business meeting agenda with importer representatives from Taiwan on 25 June 2026. Disperindagkop Kaltim informed all registrants that the meeting schedule is still tentative and subject to adjustment at any time referring to global market dynamics. “This business negotiation programme is a solution so that original regional works do not only triumph at the local level but also have an intercontinental sales track record,” stated Heni. Micro, small and medium enterprise players interested in participating must complete the administrative prerequisites, namely filling out the entrepreneur data form in detail through the online system. Another absolute requirement is the obligation for every business entity to officially register its company account on the national export information platform INAEXPORT. An additional administrative requirement is that prospective participants immediately join the internal communication group container as well as follow the official social media account of the Balikpapan Export Centre. Business owners who have previously registered their business profile for similar promotional activities are confirmed not to need to repeat the administrative stages from the beginning.
