East Kalimantan Builds IPLT to Enhance Safe Sanitation

The East Kalimantan provincial government is building faecal sludge treatment installations in several areas to improve safe sanitation. Head of the Public Works, Housing, and Human Settlements Office (Dinas PUPR PERA) of East Kalimantan, Aji Fitra Firnanda, in Samarinda on Tuesday (7/4), stated that the achievement of safe sanitation has only reached 3.7 per cent. These facilities are being constructed in Balikpapan, Berau, and Penajam Paser Utara. This step is taken to enhance the quality of residential sanitation.
