The runner-up of Raka Jawa Timur 2026, with the initials TFR, has been accused of asking a woman to have an abortion in Singapore. The news went viral after the X account @selinaby2 posted a tweet mentioning his name. Following the widespread reports, the Ikatan Raka Raki Jawa Timur responded. As of 8 August 2026, the organisation released an official statement on the case, stating that it strongly condemns all forms of violence, harassment, or abuse of power that violate the law, ethics, and human values. ‘In relation to the alleged act of sexual violence involving a member of Ikatan Raka Raki Jawa Timur, we firmly state our position on the alleged act of sexual violence involving a member of the organisation. We condemn all forms of violence, harassment, or abuse of power that violate the law, ethics, and human values,’ the statement read, as quoted from the official Instagram account of Raka Raki Jawa Timur on Monday, 10 August 2026. The organisation also said it will take action against the alleged perpetrator in accordance with applicable rules and has formed a team to investigate the case thoroughly. ‘We are committed to taking action against the alleged perpetrator according to applicable internal rules, while respecting the ongoing investigation process. We are currently forming an independent, fair, and transparent team to investigate this case thoroughly,’ the statement continued. Ikatan Raka Raki Jawa Timur also assured that the victim’s identity would be kept confidential and opened a safe channel for other victims or witnesses to report similar incidents. The organisation apologised for the incident and pledged to improve its prevention systems to ensure such events do not recur. ‘The safety, recovery, and confidentiality of the victim’s identity are our top priorities. Ikatan Raka Raki Jawa Timur has opened a safe channel for other victims or witnesses to report if they experience or witness similar incidents. We apologise and are committed to improving our prevention systems so that such incidents do not happen again in the future,’ the official statement concluded.
