East Java Provincial Government distributes 7,000 drums of asphalt for road repairs ahead of Eid

The East Java Provincial Government has implemented an asphalt distribution programme to support road maintenance across the region ahead of the Eid al-Fitr holiday period. As of March 2026, the provincial administration had delivered 2,500 drums of asphalt from the planned allocation of 7,000 drums to numerous regencies and municipalities.

Kediri City is among the recipients, having received 200 drums of asphalt for urgent road repairs. Road maintenance works have been underway across the city, with workers engaged in resurfacing activities to ensure roads are in proper condition before the increased traffic expected during the Eid holiday season.

This distribution of asphalt materials represents part of the provincial government’s coordinated efforts to maintain critical infrastructure across East Java, with particular emphasis on ensuring that transportation routes remain safe and accessible for the travelling public during major holiday periods.
