East Java Police Identify Five Victims of KMP Mutiara Sentosa II Ferry Accident

The East Java Police Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team has identified five victims who died in the KMP Mutiara Sentosa II ferry accident in the northern waters of Sumenep, Madura. The identification process took place at Bhayangkara H.S. Samsoeri Mertojoso Hospital in Surabaya on Monday (3/8). Officials confirmed that none of the victims died from burn injuries. Following the identification, the families of the deceased were presented with death certificates, with many relatives seen weeping as they received the official documents.
