The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained Moch. Mahrus, a member of the East Java Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) for the 2024–2029 period, following an examination at the KPK’s Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (28/7/2026). The detention is part of an ongoing investigation into alleged corruption involving community group grants from the East Java Provincial Government for the 2019–2022 fiscal years, a case that has ensnared several individuals.
