East Jakarta's Free Health Check Programme Integrated with TB Screening

The East Jakarta Health Sub-department is developing the Free Health Check (CKG) programme through integration with various health services such as tuberculosis (TBC) screening. “We are also integrating various health screening programmes with CKG, so that the public can obtain several services in one visit,” said Head of the East Jakarta Health Sub-department, Arief Wahyudhy, on Saturday. This step is taken so that the public can receive more complete services in a single visit. “Through this approach, we strive to keep services fast, comfortable, and of high quality even as the number of participants continues to increase,” he said. Currently, CKG services have been integrated into all types of services at community health centres (puskesmas), so residents can come for treatment while also utilising other health services. “This integration allows the public to receive several health services at once, making the service more effective and efficient,” said Arief. The East Jakarta City Administration is expanding access to the CKG programme through outreach services to various locations, ranging from schools, government offices, places of worship, and community groups to public events such as the Jakarta Fair (PRJ). This effort is made to make it easier for the public to obtain health check services without having to come directly to the puskesmas.
