Jakarta — The East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Office (Sudinhub) has cracked down on an illegal bus terminal located at Pasar Rebo, Jalan TB Simatupang, Susukan, Ciracas, East Jakarta, on Monday, 9 March 2026.

Emiral August Dwinanto, Head of Operational Section at the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Office, explained that six inter-city inter-provincial (AKAP) buses were subjected to enforcement action during the operation.

“As a result, we issued five citations and halted one vehicle from operating because during inspection it was found to lack proper route permits,” Emiral stated in a press release on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Buses have been regularly picking up and dropping off passengers on the left side of Jalan TB Simatupang.

“We conducted the enforcement operation yesterday from 16:00-17:00 WIT, involving 40 personnel in total. This included five military personnel, 10 police personnel, and 25 transport office personnel,” he added.

“We urge the public planning to travel for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri to use official terminals, as their safety is guaranteed,” he stated.
