The East Jakarta Municipal Government (Pemkot) has launched a synchronisation event for School Committees and Headmasters, alongside a socialisation of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta.

“Through this synchronisation, it is hoped that all parties will share the same understanding regarding policies, mechanisms, and stages of new student admissions so that the process runs transparently, fairly, and accountably,” said East Jakarta Wali Kota Munjirin at SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta, Rawamangun Urban Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, on Thursday.

The activity is part of the East Jakarta Municipal Government’s efforts to strengthen coordination between schools, school committees, and education stakeholders in order to ensure the success of the SPMB for the new academic year.

Munjirin stated that the synchronisation between headmasters and school committees plays a strategic role in realising education governance that is transparent, accountable, and equitable.

According to him, all elements of education must progress in harmony and support one another to provide the best service to the public, particularly in the delivery of quality education for all students.

He explained that the annual implementation of the SPMB is always a matter of public interest. The new student admission process serves as the gateway for children to obtain their right to a proper and quality education.

He also called on all headmasters and school committees to be at the forefront in providing correct and accurate information to the public.

According to him, the success of the SPMB implementation is determined not only by a good system, but also by the quality of information dissemination to prospective students and parents.

“Carry out socialisation massively, openly, and in an easily understood manner so that the public receives complete information regarding admission pathways, quotas, requirements, schedules, and registration mechanisms,” Munjirin stated.

Through this synchronisation and socialisation activity, he hopes that all parties involved in education delivery will have a unified understanding of the SPMB implementation for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

With good coordination between schools, school committees, the government, and the community, the new student admission process is expected to proceed smoothly and transparently, while providing fair opportunities for all prospective students to access quality education.

Also present at the event were Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Agency Nahdiana, General Chairman of the East Jakarta School Committee Communication Forum Samsul Bahri, Pulogadung District Head Syafrudin Chandra, Jatinegara District Head Endang Kartika, and Matraman District Head Muhammad Husnul Fauji. These three sub-districts are the areas involved in the synchronisation and socialisation process held on this occasion.
