East Jakarta Mobile Vet Clinic Treats 30 Animals in Two Days
The East Jakarta Food Security, Maritime, and Agriculture Agency (Sudin KPKP) reported that its mobile veterinary clinic, operating for two days in Ciracas District, treated a total of 30 pets. The service was held in the yard of the Kelapa Dua Wetan Urban Village Office on 13-14 July 2026, serving 30 animals belonging to 28 residents. On the first day, Monday (13/7), 14 pets owned by 14 residents were treated, comprising two dogs and 12 cats. On the second day, Tuesday (14/7), 16 animals belonging to 14 residents were examined, including five dogs and 11 cats. Taufik Yulianto, Head of the East Jakarta Sudin KPKP, noted the remarkable enthusiasm, with 28 pet owners visiting the mobile clinic to have their animals checked. He stated that this service is part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s efforts to make it easier for the public to maintain the health and welfare of their pets. He expressed hope that residents would utilise the service to keep their pets healthy and prevent the potential spread of disease. The mobile veterinary clinic service in East Jakarta will continue on 15-16 July at the Pondok Bambu Urban Village Office in Duren Sawit and on 17 July at the Penggilingan Urban Village Office in Cakung. Services run from 08.30 to 14.30 WIB. According to the tariff board, animal health services at the Animal and Livestock Health Service Centre are based on Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2024 concerning Regional Taxes and Levies. For outpatient services, a health check costs Rp35,000. Examination and treatment for cats is charged at Rp70,000, while for dogs it is Rp100,000. The same rate of Rp100,000 applies to the examination and treatment of goats and cattle. For surgical procedures, minor operations are charged at Rp175,000. Sterilisation services, which include examination, laboratory tests, and the procedure, are set at Rp400,000 for cats and Rp700,000 for dogs. Additionally, electromedical services such as ultrasonography (USG) cost Rp200,000. For diagnostic laboratory services, blood or haematology tests are charged at Rp100,000 per sample per test type, while blood biochemistry tests cost Rp75,000 per sample per test type.
