Indonesia’s crypto asset industry continues to grow alongside rising investor numbers and transaction values. Amid this growth, Dynasty Capital and PT Central Finansial X (CFX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore cooperation in developing the digital asset industry in Indonesia, including through a Sharia-compliant crypto initiative.

Dynasty Capital is a digital asset investment management company, while CFX is a crypto asset exchange that has obtained a licence from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The cooperation between the two parties is expected to serve as an initial step in building a more professional, well-managed crypto investment ecosystem that meets the needs of investors in Indonesia.

The MoU signing took place at Menara Syariah in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, as part of the Menara Syariah & INCEIF University Symposium 2026 themed ‘Shariah-Intelligence: Navigating the Future of Islamic Finance through AI and Digital Innovation’.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Dynasty Capital Founder & CEO David Cornelis Mokalu together with CFX’s board of directors. The agreement is valid for a one-year exploratory phase and serves as an initial framework for both companies to move towards a definitive cooperation agreement.

Dynasty Capital Founder & CEO David Cornelis Mokalu said that professional asset management is not solely determined by transaction speed, but also by the quality of management processes and risk oversight.

‘The sophistication of asset management is not measured by how quickly one transacts, but by how orderly the process is. Behind the single net asset value figure that investors see, there is round-the-clock market monitoring, multi-layered asset screening, custody with a segregated custodian, and independent audits. That is what distinguishes managing assets professionally from simply buying crypto,’ said David.

According to him, the growth in the number of crypto investors in Indonesia demonstrates the significant market potential for professionally managed investment products. Investors no longer need to carry out the entire investment process independently, from selecting assets and conducting analysis to managing risk.

Dynasty Capital is developing this approach through the concept of managed crypto asset investment products. Through a single product, investors will be able to gain exposure to a number of digital asset themes managed by a professional team and tailored to their respective risk profiles and investment objectives.

Dynasty Capital is developing an asset management model that combines professional investment management, Sharia oversight, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

The AI technology is designed to help monitor market movements 24 hours a day, screen assets, and support portfolio construction based on investor preferences, risk profiles, and investment targets. This approach is expected to provide an additional layer in the investment decision-making process, particularly given the dynamic nature and high volatility of the crypto asset market.

The development of managed crypto investment products is also evident in the global market. Total assets under management for crypto investment products listed on global exchanges are said to have reached approximately US$140 billion.

A number of Bitcoin-based investment products have also recorded substantial assets under management. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, for example, is said to manage around US$52 billion. Meanwhile, crypto asset managers such as Grayscale and Bitwise also demonstrate the strong demand for professionally managed digital asset investment products. This trend serves as a reference for the development of the Indonesian market, especially as the number of domestic crypto asset investors continues to rise.

Based on OJK data as of May 2026, the number of crypto asset investors in Indonesia has approached 23 million accounts. Transaction value was recorded at around Rp23 trillion in a single month and Rp122 trillion year-to-date.

This growth demonstrates the significant potential of the digital asset market in Indonesia. However, the growth in investor numbers has not been fully matched by the availability of professionally managed crypto asset investment products.

This condition also opens up opportunities for the development of managed products, including products designed based on Sharia principles. As one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has substantial market potential for digital investment products that comply with Sharia principles.

Through the Sharia Crypto initiative, Dynasty Capital is preparing a Crypto Halal Fund as one investment alternative targeting this need. The product is designed with an asset screening mechanism based on Sharia principles and oversight by a Sharia Supervisory Board.

Dynasty Capital currently positions itself as a crypto asset management company encompassing portfolio management, investment strategy formulation, risk management, and the development of digital asset-based products.

The four initial products being prepared include the Bitcoin Treasury Fund, Top 10 Crypto Fund, Crypto Halal Fund, and Crypto Gold Fund.

The Bitcoin Treasury Fund is designed with a focus on Bitcoin as the largest and one of the most liquid digital assets, with a long-term accumulation strategy.

Meanwhile, the Top 10 Crypto Fund is designed to provide exposure to the 10 largest crypto assets through a diversification approach, so that investors do not need to select and manage each asset individually.

The Crypto Halal Fund is intended for investors who want a crypto asset portfolio that has undergone a screening process based on Sharia principles and is under the supervision of a Sharia Supervisory Board.

The other product, the Crypto Gold Fund, is designed to provide exposure to gold through gold-based digital assets so that investors can gain access to the asset in digital format.

All of these products are still in the development stage and undergoing the licensing process at OJK. The products will only be marketed to the public once all necessary requirements and licences have been obtained.

The cooperation between Dynasty Capital and CFX is expected to contribute to the development of Indonesia’s digital asset ecosystem towards an industry that is increasingly structured, transparent, and capable of providing investment options suited to the diverse needs of the public, including investors who consider Sharia principles.
