The Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment (DWP Kemenko PM) provided moral support to children battling cancer at the Indonesian Children’s Cancer Care Foundation (YKAKI) in Jakarta on Wednesday (12/8).

Penasihat DWP Kemenko PM Rustini Muhaimin stated that the visit was intended to share love, attention, and encouragement, ensuring the children know they are not fighting alone. She described the young patients as extraordinary individuals possessing immense courage and strength to face difficult times.

Rustini urged them to maintain their spirit and hope throughout the treatment process, telling them she believed they had strong hearts, great bravery, and an unquenchable hope. She also noted that support from family and medical personnel is a crucial part of the children’s long treatment journey, adding that with effort, prayer, and support, there will always be hope for the best.

Addressing the parents, she conveyed her respect and appreciation for their patience and sacrifice in accompanying their children during treatment. She acknowledged that supporting a child through medical treatment requires extraordinary patience, strength, and sacrifice, and prayed for their health and fortitude.

Rustini also commended the Indonesian Children’s Cancer Care Foundation for its significant role in providing a space for assistance, comfort, and hope for the young cancer fighters and their families. She expressed hope that the foundation’s noble efforts would continue to benefit children and families in need of support.
