Dutchman arrested for Ecstasy
JAKARTA (JP): A Dutch national, identified as Laurens Hendrikus, 56, was arrested yesterday for selling Ecstasy pills.
City Police Spokesman Lt. Col. Iman Haryatna told The Jakarta Post that Hendrikus, who works for a private company in Jakarta, was caught red-handed selling 1,000 Ecstasy pills of the "tango" and "apple" variety.
"The transaction took place at a hotel in Central Jakarta at 3:30 p.m. yesterday. The buyers are still at large," Iman said.
The police's narcotic division is handling the case. (bsr)
