Dutch mission due here

JAKARTA (JP): A business delegation from the Netherlands, consisting of small- and medium-scale entrepreneurs, will begin a week-long visit today to look for trade and investment cooperation with Indonesian partners, an executive said.

During their stay in Indonesia, the delegation's members, who come from the Overijsel province, will have individual meetings with Indonesian partners and meet with government officials, A. S. Smeenk, managing director of PT Business Consultancy Indonesia (BCI), the organizer of the mission, said in a statement Saturday.

During its visit, the mission is scheduled to meet with State Minister of Investment Sanyoto Sastrowardoyo and with executives of the Indonesian Association for Cargo Agents.

The Dutch delegates, led by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Twente/Salland P.B. van der Horst, represents companies specializing in engineering consultancy, metal working, machinery, textiles, furniture, warehousing and logistics.

Smeenk added that Indonesian companies are invited to establish companies in Twente, which will help promote Indonesian exports to European countries.(31)
