Dutch airline KLM suspends flights to Israel from March 1st
Jerusalem (ANTARA) - Major Dutch airline, KLM, announced on Wednesday evening (February 25th) that it would temporarily suspend flights to Israel starting March 1st, 2026.
The airline explained in a statement that “operating flights to Tel Aviv is not commercially and operationally feasible” at this time.
KLM stated that affected passengers would be notified individually and given the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
“KLM will continue to monitor developments and will review this decision in accordance with the prevailing conditions,” the statement read.
On January 23rd, the airline suspended its flights to several countries in the Middle East, including Israel, “due to the geopolitical situation.”
The airline then resumed flights to Saudi Arabia at the end of January and then to Israel at the beginning of February.
