Duta Pertiwi's profits

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed PT Duta Pertiwi Nusantara
expects a 15 percent increase in net profit and sales this year
due to the glue industry's bright prospects.

The company recorded total sales of Rp 34.70 billion (US$14.2
million) and net profit of Rp 6.93 billion last year.

The company's president Siang Hadi Widjaja said plywood
demand, including particle board and medium density fiberboard,
was projected to increase significantly this year.

"The increase in housing and construction projects will surely
boost the performance of the glue industry," he said after a
shareholders meeting here yesterday. (09)
