KRL services on the Duri-Tangerang line were also disrupted this morning. The incident was caused by a motorcycle being struck between Rawa Buaya and Batu Ceper stations.
“We apologise for the delay to Commuterline services on the Tangerang line due to train KA 1914A (Duri-Tangerang) striking a motorcycle between Rawa Buaya and Batu Ceper stations,” KAI Commuter said via its official X account on Thursday (20/8/2026).
KCI stated that the process of evacuating the motorcycle blocking the track and inspecting the train set was still ongoing. KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan said the incident occurred at an unofficial level crossing.
“This incident also caused damage to the front of the KRL,” Leza added.
KCI urged KRL users to follow the instructions and information provided by officers on the ground. A number of residents also questioned when the handling of the incident would be completed.
