Dumai-Sei Mangkei Gas Pipeline Construction Reaches 32 Per Cent
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has announced that the construction of the Dumai–Sei Mangkei (Dusem) Natural Gas Pipeline, a National Strategic Project (PSN), continues to show significant progress. As of late July 202 Segment 2 has reached 32 per cent physical completion, surpassing the targets set in the project schedule.
Director General of Oil and Gas, Laode Sulaeman, stated that this achievement is part of the government’s efforts to accelerate the integration of the national natural gas infrastructure network. He noted that the project has also recorded 300,000 safe man-hours without work-related accidents, involving approximately 447 workers.
