Several regions have enhanced services to meet administrative needs for the 2026 New Student Admission System (SPMB), including Depok’s Civil Registration and Population Administration (Dukcapil) office, which has added service counters.

“Today’s services are indeed busy, both at the Public Service Mall (MPP) and first-floor service counters, as well as De’Fast. Tomorrow, we’ve increased staff to handle requests at MPP, De’Fast, and the first-floor counters,” said Depok City Dukcapil Head Mary Liziawati in a video posted on Depok City’s Instagram on Monday, 25 May 2026.

In a statement on Depok City’s website, Mary emphasised that accurate population data is crucial for effective public services, including verifying prospective students for the 2026 SPMB.

“Validating population data is vital—not only for education but also as the foundation for regional programme planning,” she added.

She explained that residents can create or activate IKD at De’Fast counters next to Depok City Library, the Public Service Mall (MPP), and the first-floor service counters in Gedung Dibaleka II.

Through these services, citizens can activate and verify population data in real time.

Depok Dukcapil also urges citizens, especially parents, to ensure their children’s population data is accurate before school registration opens.

With IKD, citizens enjoy faster data checks, convenient smartphone access, and real-time integrated data.

Mary urged residents to activate IKD promptly to keep family documents accurate and ready for administrative needs, including SPMB 2026.

“IKD activation is available at Dukcapil service offices in the City Hall and at 11 district-level Dukcapil units (SDP). We encourage all residents to use this service to support more effective and efficient public services,” she added.

Meanwhile, Surakarta City Dukcapil has introduced a Dukcapil Goes To School initiative, offering electronic ID (e-KTP) registration and IKD activation at public senior high and vocational schools across the city.

Surakarta Dukcapil Head Agung Hendratno said the programme aims to simplify administrative services for students who must obtain an e-KTP, providing quick, accessible services near schools.

Through this mobile service, students no longer need to visit Dukcapil offices for e-KTP registration or IKD activation. Officers go directly to schools to deliver efficient and effective services.

Agung stated that the Dukcapil Goes To School initiative reflects the government’s commitment to bringing services closer to citizens, particularly youth. He hopes the programme will boost student ID ownership and support modern, digital administrative transformations.
