Due to This Reason, Iran Has Not Decided to Send Delegation to Pakistan
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN – Iran has not yet decided to send a delegation to Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, for negotiations. There will be no talks as long as the United States’ naval blockade remains in place. A Tasnim News report indicates that message exchanges between Iran and the United States have continued in recent days through the intermediary of Pakistan. This follows the end of the first round of negotiations several weeks ago. These message exchanges essentially represent a continuation of the same process that occurred during the initial round of negotiations. A process that ultimately failed due to excessive demands and ambitions from the US side. Since the conclusion of those negotiations, the Pakistani intermediary has continued to convey messages between the two parties in the recent period. Iran’s negotiation team has emphasised that as long as US President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the naval blockade against Iran remain in effect, there will be no negotiations.
