Dudung affirms KSP Mendekat programme must deliver real benefits for the people

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chief of the Presidential Staff General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman has affirmed that the Executive Office of the President (KSP) must deliver real benefits to the public through the KSP Mendekat programme.

“The presence of KSP with the ‘KSP Mendekat’ programme serves as a starting point, a source of hope for the Indonesian people wherever we are, for the sake of the Red and White,” Dudung said in his remarks at the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at Bina Graha Building, Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday.

Dudung said the presence of KSP alongside the community is part of efforts to fill the meaning of independence and drive national progress.

“Of course, KSP carries out activities for the benefit of the people, to advance the people, and together with the people. We have done many things,” he said.

“We work earnestly to support President Prabowo Subianto. We work hard, whatever we face, but truth must be upheld,” Dudung said.

According to him, the spirit of independence must be maintained after the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. KSP staff are also encouraged to build optimism and focus attention on efforts to advance the nation.

“We support the President, who always thinks about the progress of the nation and the welfare of the people,” he said.

During the event, the Chief of the Presidential Staff also provided assistance to schoolchildren in the form of balls, badminton rackets, basketballs, and volleyballs.

In addition to sports equipment assistance, donations were given to schoolchildren and teachers as a form of attention and support.

The commemoration event also featured various traditional 17 August competitions, including paper sucking, cup relay, ball relay, and word arrangement.
