Dudung Abdurachman Officially Sworn in as Presidential Chief of Staff
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has sworn in TNI General (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman as Presidential Chief of Staff during an inauguration ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday.
The appointment is based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 52 P of 2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Presidential Chief of Staff and the Head of the Government Communication Agency.
President Prabowo personally led the oath-taking process conducted by Dudung and several other officials during the inauguration ceremony.
“I swear by Allah that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations to the best of my ability in service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the office, work to the best of my ability, with full responsibility,” this is the oath of office recited by Dudung, guided by President Prabowo.
The process then continued with the signing of the minutes by Dudung and the President as part of the inauguration proceedings.
The 33rd Army Chief of Staff was sworn in to replace Muhammad Qodari. Before becoming Presidential Chief of Staff, he also served as Special Advisor to the President for National Defence.
Not only Dudung, on that occasion Muhammad Qodari was also sworn in as Head of the Indonesian Government Communication Agency (Bakom) RI, Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency, Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency, and Hanif Faisol Nurofiq as Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs.
The inauguration event was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and several ministers of the Merah Putih Cabinet, including Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Djamari Chaniago, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.
Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid.
TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria, and academic Rocky Gerung.
