President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated Dudung Abdurachman as the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs. Dudung was appointed to the position, replacing Djamari Chaniago.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Thursday (1/10/2024). President Prabowo led the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed officials.

The event proceeded with the reading of the Presidential Decree regarding the appointment of the new officials, followed by their formal oath of office.

This appointment is based on Presidential Decree Number 104/P/2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State.

“That I shall be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and shall execute all laws and regulations with the utmost integrity in my service to the nation and state. That in performing my official duties, I shall uphold official ethics and work to the best of my ability with full responsibility,” stated Prabowo while leading the oath, which was followed by Dudung.

It is noted that Dudung previously served as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). The position of KSP is now held by General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
