Flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) remain completely suspended following increased security tensions in the Middle East region.

This suspension has a significant impact on global connectivity, as DXB is the world’s busiest international airport, serving approximately 90 million passengers annually.

Through an official statement on their X account, DXB confirmed that all arrivals and departures are suspended until further notice. Airport authorities urged passengers not to travel to the airport and to contact their respective airlines immediately for flight schedule updates.

Currently, airspace above Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iran remains restricted. Global airlines continue to monitor security developments before deciding whether to resume routes.

However, there is no official confirmation from Dubai authorities regarding when airport operations will return to normal. The closure of airspace and heightened security risks have prompted numerous airlines to suspend services to and from Dubai.
