DT Peduli to Temporarily Halt All Services Across Indonesia for Internal Evaluation

DT Peduli will halt all its services across Indonesia on Friday (17/7/2026). This move is a comprehensive evaluation step involving all human resources within the organisation. During this time, amil (zakat administrators) will undergo assessments related to policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), systems, and various work processes implemented at the institution. DT Peduli Director Jajang Nurjaman explained that the organisation has specifically set aside time and resources to carry out thorough internal improvements. According to him, the evaluation process is important to ensure that every service provided to the community runs according to established standards. “We have specifically prepared time, resources, and plans so that we can fix what is still lacking, what is still not up to standard, and what still needs improvement. So, in that one day, we will assess where the problems lie,” Jajang said. He emphasised that the overhaul focuses not only on systems and procedures but also on strengthening human resource capacity. All amil will have their understanding of the policies and regulations in force at DT Peduli evaluated. “We will check all our human resources regarding their understanding of all policies, SOPs, systems, and procedures. If there are still staff who are weak, we will strengthen them. Staff who do not yet understand, we will make them understand. Staff who are not yet capable, we will mentor them until they are. So, we really want to improve from within, starting with human resources first, then systems, procedures, and processes,” he said. Jajang added that this step is a form of effort by DT Peduli to safeguard the mandate entrusted by the public. As a philanthropic institution, DT Peduli strives to ensure that all service and programme management processes are carried out professionally, accountably, and in accordance with the values upheld by the institution. “Hopefully, this can be a means for DT Peduli to change for the better. We truly want to safeguard this public trust because we are accountable to Allah and to the community. So, we must improve. Hopefully, with the implementation of these improvements, Allah will decree an even greater mandate,” he stated. During the activity, all amil will also take part in an internal examination to measure the extent of their understanding of the various applicable policies and SOPs. Due to the temporary suspension of services, DT Peduli has apologised to the public and beneficiaries affected. Jajang hopes the public can understand the steps taken by the institution to deliver more optimal services in the future. “Yes, we apologise that our offices are temporarily closed simultaneously across Indonesia. Please allow us one day to improve ourselves so that, God willing, we can be better at safeguarding the public trust forever,” he concluded.
