Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) has plummeted this year after being hit by MSCI and FTSE Russell due to being listed on the High Shareholder Concentration List (HSC).
DSSA shares have fallen 87.05% to Rp 510 per share since the start of the year. The company’s market capitalisation stands at Rp 101.14 trillion. Shares have also dropped 72.3% over the past month and 35.4% in the last week.
In addition to MSCI’s adjustments, DSSA has been removed from the FTSE Russell index following the June 2026 quarterly review of the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS).
According to FTSE Russell’s announcement, DSSA has been excluded from the Large Cap category.
The changes will take effect on Monday, 22 June 2026, after the close of trading on Friday, 19 June 2026.
Previously, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) stated it had received several requests for discussions from issuers listed on the High Shareholder Concentration List (HSC).
“We have received several requests for discussions and have accommodated them all. There are several dates and companies, and we have handled them all,” said Acting CEO of BEI Jeffrey Hendrik to reporters at BEI Building in Jakarta on Monday, 25 May 2026.
When asked if the issuers seeking discussions were conglomerate-owned companies, Jeffrey declined to comment. However, he confirmed that one or two issuers had already visited the exchange, with more scheduled to meet.
Jeffrey also stated that the exchange is open to issuers on the HSC list reporting their efforts to adjust their shareholder composition.
“Please feel free to report to us if they have made efforts,” he added.
On another note, Jeffrey mentioned that some issuers have reported efforts to increase their public float in line with the 15% maximum requirement. BEI has also held discussions with the Indonesian Issuers Association regarding the implementation of the rule.
“To date, we have seen positive efforts by several issuers to increase their free float, and the progress is good,” he added.
