DSSA Becomes Main Victim as Foreign Net Sell Reaches Rp904 Billion in a Week
Foreign investors continued to record net selling in the Indonesian stock market throughout the trading week of 15-19 June 2026. Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), foreign investors posted a net sell of Rp904.1 billion across all markets. It should be noted that a net foreign buy of Rp3.9 trillion was contributed by PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) in a negotiated market transaction. Overall, foreign investors recorded a buy value of Rp44.64 trillion and a sell value of Rp45.55 trillion during the week, resulting in the net sell of Rp904.1 billion across all markets.
Shares of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) became the most heavily sold by foreign investors, with a net sell value reaching Rp838.6 billion. The next position was occupied by PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), which recorded a net sell of Rp646.4 billion. In third place was PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) with a foreign net sell value of Rp554.5 billion. Furthermore, foreign investors were also recorded heavily selling PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) worth Rp372.4 billion and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) amounting to Rp279.7 billion.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) managed to record a positive performance throughout the trading week of 15-19 June 2026. The IHSG strengthened 2.82% week-on-week to the level of 6,177.14, from the previous week’s position of 6,007.66. The market capitalisation of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) increased 2.51% to Rp10,788 trillion from Rp10,524 trillion the previous week. Meanwhile, the average daily transaction value dipped slightly by 1.02% to Rp24.81 trillion, and the average daily transaction frequency shrank 10.33% to 2.24 million transactions. In the Southeast Asian region, the IHSG’s 2.82% gain placed Indonesia as the third best-performing bourse, after the Philippines which rose 3.81% and Singapore which strengthened 3.32%.
