Drug Trafficker Koh Erwin Orders Boy to Flee to Pontianak
Drug trafficker Koh Erwin, known as Erwin Iskandar, allegedly ordered drug dealer Boy to flee to Pontianak following the exposure of payments made to former Bima City Police Chief Senior Commissioner Didik Putra Kuncoro.
According to Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at the Police’s Criminal Investigation Directorate (Bareskrim Polri), Boy immediately flew from Bima to Jakarta after learning of the arrest of the former Narcotics Investigation Head at Bima City Police Station, Senior Commissioner Malaungi.
“Boy immediately flew from Bima to Jakarta to meet his girlfriend Rosmawati, who was living at her aunt’s house in Kunciran, Banten,” Santoso stated in a written statement on Friday, 13 March.
Upon arrival, Boy contacted Koh Erwin and informed him that he was being pursued by police. Boy then requested protection and assistance from Koh Erwin to evade the authorities.
“Koh Erwin then advised him to go to Pontianak, West Kalimantan, to hide, and said he would be assisted by his associate named Dede Hananda,” Santoso explained.
Subsequently, on Saturday, 21 February, Boy and Rosmawati fled Jakarta for Pontianak. Four days later, they arrived in Pontianak and stayed at Guest House 9-HAAN.
Eko stated that Boy and Rosmawati later moved to another hiding location in the Ragatha Paris housing complex in Pontianak on Sunday, 1 March.
A week later, Boy’s girlfriend returned to Jakarta to stay at her aunt’s house in Kunciran, Banten.
“Boy was apprehended at a workshop on Jalan Sungai Raya Dalam Gang Radja, Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya, Pontianak,” Santoso explained.
Previously, Bareskrim Polri had apprehended the wanted drug trafficker Boy, also known as Abdul Wahid, who had deposited Rp1.6 billion to former Bima City Police Chief Senior Commissioner Didik Putra Kuncoro.
The arrest was carried out by a joint team from Subdivision 4 of the Narcotics Crime Directorate at Bareskrim Polri together with the Narcotics Investigation Center (NIC) Task Force at a rented house in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, on Tuesday, 12 March.
“DPO Boy has been apprehended,” stated Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim, in a written statement.
Senior Police Commissioner Kevin Leleury, Head of the NIC Task Force at the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri, stated that Boy was on the wanted persons list (DPO) for the Erwin Iskandar, alias Koh Erwin, network in the East Nusa Tenggara region (NTB).
“Abdul Hamid, alias Boy, served as a drug trafficker in the Erwin Iskandar network in the NTB region,” Leleury explained.
Bareskrim Polri had previously arrested Koh Erwin (KE), the drug trafficker who supplied both money and narcotics to former Bima City Police Chief Senior Commissioner Didik Putra Kuncoro.
Erwin was arrested while fleeing via an illegal sea route to Malaysia from Tanjung Balai, North Sumatra. He allegedly resisted arrest and had to be immobilised by officers.
The Koh Erwin network allegedly deposited Rp1 billion to Didik through his subordinate Senior Commissioner Malaungi, who was the Narcotics Investigation Head at Bima City Police Station. Didik received this money during the period from June to November 2025.
Didik has since been dismissed from the police force without honour (PTDH) and is being detained at Bareskrim Polri’s detention facility.
