Drug Party in Bekasi Raided, Seven Arrested

Jakarta — Seven individuals were arrested after being caught at a drug party at a residence in Jatikarya, Jatisampurna, Bekasi City on Wednesday, 4 March 2026.

According to AKP Ari Purwanto, Head of Unit 1, Subdirectorate 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of Metro Jaya Police, two of those detained were women.

“In the raid, we secured seven individuals consisting of five men and two women,” Ari told reporters on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

One suspect, identified by initials AS, had previously been sought in connection with the distribution of 2,000 ecstasy tablets.

The six other detainees, with initials FA, AY, RR, MH, S, and ML, all tested positive for narcotics use following urine tests.

“They were suspected of consuming narcotics at the residential compound, and the six others we secured all tested positive in their urine tests,” said Ari.

The arrests stemmed from a report by residents who suspected drug abuse activities were occurring at the residence. Following up on the complaint, police investigated and monitored the house before conducting the raid.
